Wooden Frames

At The Framed Picture Company, we offer a wide selection of high quality wood frames. Gold, silver, black, brown, white and grey frames are all available in a variety of widths, profiles and finishes to show your photos and art to best effect and to blend with a range of decorative styles.

Framed photos are available in more than 25 different sizes, in 5 different aspect ratios. Framed art is available in 6 different sizes, with the aspect ratio being the same as the original.

Mount Colours

Mounts are available in a wide selection of different colour options; as single or double mounts, allowing endless possible mount colour combinations to enhance your art. We only use the best quality 'conservation' or white core mountboard, so you can be assured that your wall art will be better preserved for longer.

Printing

We produce 'Giclee' standard prints on heavyweight 230gsm professional matte photo paper using industry leading print and ink technology. Your images are printed at 1440 dpi on large format inkjet printers using the latest 12 colour high density pigment ink system to produce high definition, stunningly colourful prints that are fade resistant. This ensures enjoyment of your photos and art for many years to come.

Glazing

All of our pictures are glazed with optically clear high grade acrylic. Unlike standard float glass, there is no colour tinge, so you get an excellent rendition of your photo or art.

Finishing

All of our framed pictures are hand finished, using high quality tapes, to provide protection against dust and insects, to a standard that you would expect from a quality picture framer.

Hanging

Our framed pictures come ready to hang. Our pictures are are strung using zinc plated 'd-rings' with low stretch white polyester fibre cord. Heavier pictures that cannot safely be hung on cord are equipped with strap hangers.

Every print and every frame produced by The Framed Picture Company is hand-made to order, using the highest quality materials, in our workshops in Malton, North Yorkshire. We think we produce the very best images and the very best picture frames in the UK.
